Many people look to Twitter for breaking news, but that doesn't mean it's all true.

Case in point, Microsoft is denying rumors about their Zune media player posted on a Twitter account, @officethemovie.  Spokesperson Brian Seitz, a source of many Zune-related rumors himself, has stated that the account isn't official and should not be taken seriously:

That account is bunk. Not run by Microsoft so I would not put much stock in what they say. The real Office movie account is http://twitter.com/office2010movie.

The person who created the fake Twitter account later came forward, stating that it was a publicity stunt for his article on iPhone piracy.
