Two DSiWare, two WiiWare, and one Virtual Console title make their way onto Nintendo's downloadable services this Memorial Day
It's Memorial Day here in the United States, and Nintendo is celebrating with five titles headed to the publisher's downloadable services of DSiWare, WiiWare, and Virtual Console.
The two DSiWare titles are American Popstar: Road to Celebrity, from Gameloft, and Photo Clock from Nintendo. In American Popstar, players need to fulfill their character's dream of becoming the biggest pop star in the world. In the Photo Clock application, users can rearrange the photos taken by the DSi Camera to however they please, while making sure that they never miss the time.
The two WiiWare titles this week are new iterations in some classic series: Bubble Bobble Plus! from Taito, and Adventure Island: The Beginning from Hudson Entertainment. Bubble Dragons Bub and Bob are back for over 200 old and new levels in Bubble Bobble Plus, and if that's not enough, players can take the game online and go head-to-head with players across the globe, or download even more levels in the form of "Expert Mode" DLC packs. In Adventure Island: The Beginning, players take control of Master Higgins once more as he explores Adventure Island from coast-to-coast, gathering and collecting items, in a 2.5D platforming adventure.
The lone Virtual Console title this week is the Sega Genesis version of Clay Fighter, a 2D fighting game. A meteorite has crashlanded near a circus camp, turning its performers into various monstrosities that are ready to duke it out against one another.
As a recap, the games available this week are:
