Sims take over, plus a couple surprises
The NPD Group has released its early June numbers, detailing what's doing well in PC gaming.
The Sims 3 takes the top spot, which is no surprise given the massive sales Electronic Arts (EA) reported earlier -- it's considerably larger cousin, the Collector's Edition, came in at number two, with The Sims 2 Double Deluxe still selling strong, coming in just below.
The rest is the usual stuff excepting a couple of surpsises: Kaspersky Lab's Reel Deel Slots Adventure, and the newly released Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage/The Pitt pack, which retails for $25 -- worth nothing is a Game of the Year Edition, which will include the original game plus all extra content (five packs), will be retailing this October, priced at approximately $60.
