It's finally hear, and Japanese games enthusiasists who also happen to have a PSP handy can enjoy Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.
Capcom has been boasting about this handheld hit since it first came out in Nippon, and with good reason. The game has sold 3.4 million copies in Japan so far, making it one of the PSP's most popular titles. The Monster Hunter series has sold over 8.5 million worldwide.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite promises around 500 hours of gameplay and never before seen monsters, over 2000 armor sets, 1400 weapons and 400 missions, making this the biggest Monster Hunter game in the series. Players can also hook up with three allies to form multiplayer hunting parties using the Ad Hoc network. The game also boasts a customizable A.I. companion.
And as mentioned above, there is a new launch trailer for the game's North American debut. According to the video, ghetto-dwellers with a hip fashion sense are most likely to try this game. Also note that the release date shown at the end is obviously not for North America.
...Okee dokee.
