With 'recommended', you should knock about a gig off the single core and make it dual core (So about 2.0GHz Dual core), add around 512MB to 1GB to the RAM, improve the GPU a generation or so (preferably increasing GPU memory as well), and of course, at least if you have Vista (Or WIndows7) going to DX10.

Sound Card, HDD, and Internet connections generally remain the same.

Standard fare for Required VS recommended.

1.5GB of RAM would be unwise -- memory likes to go in pairs.

Lol yeah, I should have thought of that. So 2GB then.

If I remember right this version is being developed on id Tech 4, which is the same engine behind Doom 3 and Quake 4 and is OpenGL based which makes vista / 7 pointless given that it's not dependent on DX extensions.

Basically if you can run D3 or Q4 maxed out then don't worry about upgrading at all as this won't be as much of a punch. Tech 5 is another story but I don't recall any properties coming out right now using it yet.

Hmm..I think you'd need to upgrade the CPU?
Video card could have trouble with it, depending on how truthful the minimum reqs are -- a good one is so cheap though.

Jason -=> your processor is fine man, but really, do yourself a favor and get a new video card if you have a PCIE motherboard (not a AGP motherboard) if you play like more than 3 hours of games a month. For about 30$ you can get a video card that is 5x better than that video card. For $80 you can get a card that can handle anything out right now. You'll thank me later.

I'm still thanking Kevin for my current hardware -- listen to the man.

I've known the existence of a brutal classic Wolfenstein game for sometimes, but I still haven't played that one so far.

I hope it looks good on the PlayStation 3 console.

OMG - either way I cannot wait for this! RTCW is still one of my all time favorite games so am fizzing at the arse for this to be released! Hope it manages to retain some of the magic that RTCW had
