KOEI has announced today that WARRIORS OROCHI 2 for PSP will be shipping to North America on August 25, 2009.

The PSP edition features much of the same with some new perks.  Players can go through four different campaigns using characters from the DYNASTY WARRIORS and SAMURAI WARRIORS games, along with three other modes: Dream, Versus, Survival, and a "Tag Team"-style arena. 

Additionally, Warriors Orochi 2 PSP will include the 2-player VS mode, co-op play in Story, Free and Dream modes, 12 new Dream mode scenarios, and a (dun dun) Japanese voice option.  Two new characters not found in the console release will also be joining the original cast -- San Zang and Benkei -- completing the roster at 96 fully playable warriors.
