Designers and actors offer a deeper look inside this A2M action game
Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M) have up to this point been developing, to be blunt, kids stuff and licensed schlock. At some point we're guessing nine years of that caused the team to snap, around which time they signed a deal with Bethesda Softworks to make the game we're going to look at today: WET.
WET is a straight-up and classic action game inspired in part by the action films and music of the 70s. In it you play Rubi Malone, a screwed-over mercenary with a penchant for dropping bodies -- really about all you need for this type of deal. Malone is voiced by actress Eliza Dushku, who we've learned recently is very much pro-gaming; another big name on the list is Duppy Demitrius, who wrote for popular TV series 24.
With that in mind, have a look at today's behind the scenes trailer, which should give you a healthy idea of what's going into the game, and what to expect out of it. It sells itself a bit much, but a good watch nonetheless.
WET releases September 15 in North America and September 18 in Europe on Xbox 360 and PS3.
I'm pretty excited about this game. Check out the official WET website for a bunch of wierd/funny trailers featuring singing corpses: http://wet.bethsoft.com/?fbid=X04QTWwskcR Yes, I said singing corpses.
