Next week for Gold subscribers, late August for Silver
Looking forward to Lost Planet 2? If you didn't get to try the game at E3 or Comic-Con, Capcom has great news -- a co-op demo will be released to Xbox LIVE next week.
On August 19, Xbox LIVE Gold members will get to try the co-op demo featured at this year's E3, SDCC and Gamescom. Silver members will need to wait until August 26 for their turn.
In the demo, you'll be able to team up with three other players and face off against the gigantic G-Type Salamandar Akrid boss. The behemoth can be destroyed in more ways than one, and it's up to your team to figure out the best course of action. You'll also be able to try out the new weapons and some Vital Suit robotic combat units, which allows up to three players at once. Don't forget to share your thermal energy to help our injured squad mates!

I never had the chance to try the first game but after trying out the demo I'll be picking up LP2 for sure as it really impressed me. I loved the co-op it was just so entertaining. I don't think you can play with more than one person on the same console tho so for anyone else getting it for the 360 you can pre-add me; gamertag = tekmosis
