Hard-boiled enough to handle bullet-time?

Sorry about the cheesy title. Blue's reported yesterday that Remedy Entertainment's website was updated with word that their gritty third-person action title, Max Payne, has gone gold. Hopefully PC gamers will see the highly anticipated title hit store shelves (in America, at least) by the end of this month. No news yet of the status of the console versions of the game. Until then, you may still have a chance to get in on the pre-order specials various online retailers are offering with the game.
