Crynet's Nanosuit2 for Crytek's third Crysis game Crysis 2
Crytek is up to its old tricks, working on the new Crysis FPS game, unsurprisingly labelled Crysis 2. For Gamescon they have setup a website for "Crynet", the fictional in-game company that builds the Nanosuit -- sorry, the Nanosuit2. The website features some great new teaser images and short videos showing of this stylish new weapons technology.
The Nanosuit2 is like the Nanosuit from the first game, but it apparently it kicks more ass. It has even more nanos and looks even more bad-ass.
Crysis 2 is going to be coming to a wider selection of platforms than the first game -- it'll be made for the Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC. Apparently this time around the game will also feature more of an open-world thing going on, unlike the straight-forward linearity of the first game. The infamous graphics engine powering the game is also getting an upgrade, of course -- it is now known as the CryENGINE3 (have you noticed any trends in these new names?)
No release date has been pegged for the Cry-battle, but late 2010 is our best guess.
