Time to suit up, once again
Promised recently to be arriving soon, Bioware's latest (and probably last) DLC for Mass Effect, Pinnacle Station, has come out today.
You can download the new DLC through Xbox Live for 400 MS Points (~$5). Or if you are a PC gamer, you can get the for $5 through the EA Store (sidenote: PC Mass Effect is only $19.99 right now as well -- a fantastic deal.)
Pinnacle Station puts Shepard right into a big bag of trouble, as he finds himself (or herself) on a semi-secret space station, filled with dudes who want to shoot and maim people. The action is focused around a sort of battle arena, where you'll undoubtedly endeavour to conquer greater and greater challenges, as more and more tougher and tougher aliens try to shoot you with space lasers and stuff (there are 13 stages, apparently).
This DLC sounds like it'll keep you in a state of even greater anticipation for the next chapter of the trilogy, Mass Effect 2.
Also available today are some new Mass Effect garments for your Live Avatars, such as space-hats and armor, ranging from $1-$4 on Xbox Live (sample pictured above).
Microsoft says: "Test the limits of your combat prowess aboard a remote, top-secret Alliance space station. Do you have what it takes to hold the top spot amongst the best of the best? This module includes a new land-able space station, 13 exciting combat scenarios, and approximately 2-3 hours of game play. Required: you must achieve Spectre status before embarking on this mission."
