Now find out if the game was worth the wait and hype

Blue's has just got the scoop: Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. today announced that Max Payne, the action PC game from its GodGames publishing subsidiary, has shipped to retailers in North America and Europe.

"Developed by Remedy Entertainment and 3D Realms, Max Payne is expected to be one of the biggest PC games of the year."

George Broussard, President of 3D Realms, stated, "Max Payne captures the mood and feeling of a classic film noir detective thriller and Remedy has crafted a movie quality script in the process. It's all about action, but there is a deep and rich plot here to uncover as you play. We can't wait for people to experience the Payne."

"Max Payne has some of the most stunning visual graphics ever seen on a PC game and there is no doubt that consumer enthusiasm has reached fever pitch for the title," said Kelly Sumner, CEO of Take-Two. "Max Payne is the company's biggest PC day one ship ever and it is very exciting to add such a strong new title to Take-Two's line of successful brand franchises."
