Major video game firms have self-esteem issues too
Look like emo webcomic artists aren't the only people who edit their Wikipedia pages out of shame or some other deep-seated issues with self-confidence. Wikipedia is now warning Japanese publisher and developer Tecmo to stop this nonsense immediately.
Many companies do regularly edit their own Wiki-pages, but it seems a Tecmo employee is actually removing some of last year's ugliness from the Tecmo page, much to Wikipedia's chagrin. How do we know this? Someone has been making changes from the company's IP.
What, specifically, was this Tecmo gnome trying to conceal? A few unpleasant details from 2008, such as the employee lawsuits, Itagaki jumping ship (and also suing), a secret audio tape in which former president Yoshimi Yasuda says some damning things about the company -- you know, this and that.
Nice going, guys! Although, we're still wondering what Tecmo was thinking with the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 SIXAXIS boob jiggling feature.
