Activision announced yesterday that the talented Daft Punk duo would be contributing their works to DJ Hero.  The announcement included several screenshots, but surprisingly enough, no trailer -- every DJ announced so far has had one (or several).

Not to worry, because the Daft Punk DJ Hero video is out today, featuring "Robot Rock" versus a remix of "We Will Rock You" by Queen. Fans will also get to face off against Boogie Down Productions, No Doubt, Gary Numan, N.A.S.A., Beastie Boys, Hashim, Young MC, as revealed in yesterday's press release.

More will be revealed, but again, here are the eight we've already learned of:

• “Around the World” vs. Young MC “Bust A Move”
• “Da Funk” vs. NASA “Strange Enough ft. Karen O, ODB and Fatlip”
• “Da Funk” vs. Queen “Another One Bites the Dust”
• “Robot Rock” vs. Hashim “Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)” – Produced and mixed by The Scratch Perverts
• “Robot Rock” vs. Queen “We Will Rock You”
• “Short Circuit” vs. Boogie Down Productions “Jack Of Spades”
• “Technologic” vs. Gary Numan “Cars”
• “Television Rules The Nation” vs. No Doubt “Hella Good”

Smart move on Activision's part, bringing in Daft Punk.  Now all we need is The Chemical Brothers, and people might actually take this game seriously.
