The Grey Wardens are in trouble! Help them, Maric!
BioWare and Tor Books have announced the upcoming release of the Dragon Age prequel novel, Dragon Age: The Calling by David Gaider.
It's a follow-up to his debut novel, Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne, in which Maric was seeking revenge for his mommy's death. Now that he's King Maric, everyone with a problem comes crying to him, including the Grey Warden, following their return to Ferelden. That's the gratitude Maric gets for lifting their exile.
Anyway, that's good news for readers because now you can follow Maric's adventures of righteousness as he aids the Grey Wardens in saving the kingdom, forcing him to backtrack. Nobody likes backtracking, but it's for a good cause this time.
Dragon Age: The Calling will be out October 13 for $14.99 USD, so mark that date on your calendar if you're a fan of the Dragon Age novels. Might serve as an adequate introduction to the game.
