Ubisoft has released new trailers for No More Heroes 2: Deperate Struggle, with combat play and a look at the game's new 8-bit job missions.

Random little missions in retro visuals will be included in NMH2, where Travis performs random menial tasks like collecting coconuts from palm trees or cooking steak for some burly looking man who will stab you in the face for getting his order wrong -- probably even if you got it right.  There's just no pleasing some people.

Okay then, now that you have a taste of that, how about some actual combat play?  Ubisoft tossed out a teaser trailer at TGS, featuring Shinobu and her triumphant return from Asia.  All rested up from her time in the Far East, she's ready to help Travis on his personal mission for revenge and self-improvement as an assassin.

Word is our boy Travis has been slacking off and dropped to the bottom within the UAA (United Assassins Association) hierarchy.  Now he's gotta hack 'n' slash his way back to first place, and Shinobu is just the woman he needs.  She brings agility and a sharp katana to the table, along with lolita fashion.  But don't be fooled by the poofy short skirt -- Shinobu will kill you in a heartbeat.  Obviously a worthy ally for Travis, but don't go calling them Japanophiles (though that's what they are) unless you've got a death wish.
