Consoles get Need for Speed SHIFT demo Image 1

Console owners can finally stop tapping their feet, glaring at PC gamers for the early Need for Speed SHIFT demo access.  This Thursday, October 1, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers will be getting their chance to try the NFS game that has supposedly turned the franchise around.

In the demo, players will have access to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and city circuit of London River, with four cars to start and one unlockable:

1. BMW M3 (E46)
2. 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10
3. 2006 Lotus Elise 111R
4. 2008 Nissan GT-R
5. 2006 Pagani Zonda F (unlockable)

Alternatively, if you feel the demo isn't necessary, the full game is available for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PSP -- coming soon to iPhone.

It's really good, man. Pretty "simmy", but nothing bad about that.

Hee Hee.....PSP's Gran Turismo will be my highest priority in October.

What is more, some critics think that SHIFT will be another NFS game with a few improvements in gameplay and graphics... but I'd definitely prefer GT 5 on PS3 which can be released at a moment's notice soon!!!
