Nottinghamers prepare for action, standing by in Nanosuits

If you're a Crysis fan and happen to live in Nottingham, UK, you may want to check out Crysis: LIVE!, a real-life recreation of Crytek UK's universe, complete with Nanosuits.
Very similar to the Fallout and Silent Hill events mentioned before, and perhaps even moreso last year's Resident Evil: LIVE!, this one is put off by Crytek UK and game festival GameCity Squared. Apparently these folks figured to heck with a traditional event this year, it'd be better to just convert the whole arena into a live, full-scale recreation of the universe, in which fans play "for real" (minus all the death and stuff, we assume).
The developer's narrative designer Rob Yescombe (who also conceived RE: LIVE!) is the brains behind the whole project, having created, designed and directed it. Of his opus, he's just as excited as the rest of us:
“The folks here really embrace the sentiments of GameCity," he remarked. "Which is taking games out of the bedroom, and getting everyone involved; meeting each other, sharing experiences and exchanging stories. It warms the cockles of my heart. I love it.”
“A lot of games are extensions of childhood classics. Crysis: LIVE! is like Hide and Seek for the 21st Century – good old fashioned fun but with a Crytek UK twist. I don’t want to spoil too much. You really need to play it”.
You may be thinking lots of fake plants and all that, but no, they're really going the full nine with this one, putting in authentic flora, fauna and the like, and also supplying participants with Nanosuits. According to the press release, this would make Crysis: LIVE! the only real-life game that allows one to BECOME INVISIBLE (it's capitalized, so you can know they're really excited). Not sure how that works, unless Crytek got their hands on some secret government technology or something, so you'll just have to attend and see (or not see, cause everyone will be invisible).
Crysis : LIVE! will be at GameCity Squared from October 29-30; GameCity Squared takes place all over Nottingham from October 27-31. Location details and such can be found at the source.
