Six retailers are offering different pre-order bonuses for DJ Hero and DJ Hero Renegade Edition.  There's a bit of a catch, however, as not every retailer will honor their bonus if you do not choose the correct edition of the game.  We've provided a list of each retailer offering a DJ Hero pre-order promotion.

Free DLC?  Get some tasty snacks from Walmart?  Have the game shipped to you sooner?  Some mighty tempting options here so choose wisely.

  • Amazon.com (DJ Hero, DJ Hero Renegade Ed.) - $5 credit towards music featured in the game
  • Walmart.com (DJ Hero, DJ Hero Renegade Ed.) - Receive a $10 electronic gift card
  • GameStop (DJ Hero, DJ Hero Renegade Ed.) - Get 2 free DLC downloads
  • Guitar Hero Store (DJ Hero only) - Free two-day shipping
  • Hollywood Video/Game Crazy (DJ Hero only) - Receive an exclusive turntable slipmat
  • Best Buy (DJ Hero only) - Get a code that unlocks a Daft Punk-themed venue

DJ Hero and DJ Hero Renegade Edition ships on October 27 for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 2 systems.

    I'm a little pi$$ed because I looked high and low to find pre-order content and there was no information on it until now. I already pre-ordered from Newegg. Not sure it would sway me as I am saving on tax and shipping with Newegg which is why I went that direction plus I like them a lot. I got the Renegade version though and according to this Best Buy's deal only applies to the normal version unless I get the Daft Punk venue in Renegade already.

    I'm not convinced by these pre-order bonuses... I will probabaly just wait until the January sales, or buy a copy second hand.

    Well one of the reasons I bought early is I considered the possibility that the hardcore gamers and electronic music lovers will go for the Renegade edition like I did. I don't know how many they made so I thought the Renegade editions might become scarce OR everything DJ Hero is too expensive and scared off most gamers and you can find your very own Renegade edition a month or two from now for $150 or something lol. We'll have to wait and see.

    i pre ordered mine today in AUS, it comes with a guitar hero mic but im kinda upset, i think id rather the daftpunk stuff than the mic, i dont have any other guitar hero or rockband games to use it with
