Lost E3 trailer art is dug up, reveals new in-game location
With most of the Playstation 3's consumer base now ogling the near releases of Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time, it is easy to forget what the guys at Sony have lined up for us in 2010. God of War III, the third and final part in Kratos' epic tale is due for release in March 2010, but since E3 2009 and previous gaming events, the God of War has fallen silent under the sudden Autumn rush of video games.
However, digging through the vast stretches of the internet, brand-new concept art behind Santa Monica's upcoming title have been found. Originally intended for release during to the time-frame of the E3 trailer, these elaborate works of art have only just been discovered by gaming blog, Split-Screen.
The artwork gallery below covers a handful of the game's torn and desolate vistas as well as several works of art linked to the enemies that players will discover in the actual game. Note that some of the artwork even represents scenes from the game's trailer, such as battle between Kratos and the Centaur.
I do anticipate that its Cinematic Graphics (CG) will be as beautiful as the concept arts illustrate thus far...
