Possibly during World War II in Europe
In the latest issue of Xbox World 360, Ubisoft producer Sebastien Puel talked about the possibility of a female assassin lead in the next Assassin's Creed game.
All Puel can confirm is that they've "had discussions" on the topic, and there's no hard evidence the next AC game will star a lady hero. The team is, however, leaning toward that option, specifically during World War II when many nations were run by women.
It could be really interesting but we'd need to find the right time period and place for that.
Where would that make sense? We don't want to just decide we want to change and have a female hero as the first inspiration is always the time period, but if you're talking about, say, World War II the economies in England and France were run by women because the men were off fighting.
So maybe in this context you were a woman in England during WWII. Why not? Nothing prevents us from doing it
Interestingly enough, creative director Patrice Fortier also noted that the Assassin's Creed franchise can "just expand and expand," though Ubisoft originally planned for a trilogy.
Kill Bill. That is all.
I wouldn't mind a chick assassin, actually i would welcome it as it would be a change of pace. I cant really imagine her in the wardrobe though...
As for strength, I've seen pro female wrestlers compete, so I'm pretty convinced. And frightened.
Because chicks have great asses!
I'd love to play a game which features female assassin who can seduce men...Perhaps efficient love making tactics would be a rudimentary theme of next Assassin Creed game???
The main concepts in the game are and will always be Crowd Stealth and Adaptive Movement and Action. Perhaps her more fragile nature would mean she shouldn't engage in open fights against overwhelming numbers, but what about it? It's not like the game focuses much on that for a game mechanics, fighting is a detail.
Things that could be added, however, are new ways to lose your chasers, for example. A small, slim woman can get into places both Ezio and Altair wouldn't dream of.
It's absurd to deny a man has sex appeal -- we're men. Are you out of your mind? It's just recognizing in others what (hopefully) you see in yourself.
It would have been hella more interesting if they went to World World One or some of the other really neat wars (of which there are no shortage) besides the most obvious choice, WW2. What about a game in the Russo-Japanese war, the War of 1812, the Hundred Years war, or etc etc. WW2 is p-la-y-e-d out .
Maybe not even a war at all.
@Chatemoc: I was just being sarcastic. Of course I see the sex appeal in Ezio, though I would have suspected that most guys would deny the existence of it in an attempt to sound more manly.
