Wolfmother for GH5 and RB2 goes Queen-only

Rock Band & Guitar Hero updates 10/19 through 10/22 Image 1

This week, Wolfmother comes in for Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band 2 earns nothing but Queen songs.

The three Wolfmother tracks that are available to purchase and download right now are:

  • "California Queen"
  • "Cosmic Egg
  • "Pilgrim"

Guitar Hero 5 track packs are priced at the usual 440 Microsoft Points, 550 Nintendo Points, or $5.49 USD from the PlayStation Store.  Individual tracks go for 160 MS Points, 200 Nintendo Points, or $1.99, as always.

For you Rock Band 2 players, you're either going to love it or hate it this coming week as the next batch of songs solely consists of Queen tracks:

  • “Another One Bites the Dust”
  • “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”
  • “Fat Bottomed Girls”
  • “I Want It All”
  • “I Want to Break Free”
  • “Killer Queen”
  • “One Vision”
  • “Somebody to Love”
  • “Tie Your Mother Down”
  • “Under Pressure”

If you're a fan of David Bowie, "Under Pressure" might interest you as it is a collaboration between Bowie and Queen.

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players can purchase every song in the Queen Pack for 1280 MS Points or $15.99 USD / £9.19 UK / €11.25 EU from the PlayStation Store.  All individual tracks are priced at 160 MS Points, $1.99 / £.99 / €1.49 from the PlayStation Store, or 200 Nintendo Points.

Lastly, Rock Band Unplugged gets another pair of tracks:

  • Blink-182 – “The Rock Show”
  • The Offspring – “All I Want”

Each track is worth $1.99 / £.99 / €1.49 from the PlayStation Store.

Xbox 360 and Wii owners can get their Rock Band 2 content on October 20 while PlayStation 3 and Unplugged players need to wait till October 22.
