EA announces track list as game goes gold
If you're in possession of a Wii or DS and love the Need for Speed series, you'll be happy to know Need for Speed NITRO for Nintendo platforms has achieved gold status and will be shipping soon. Additionally, EA has dropped the soundtrack details, with some perfect racing tunes to set the mood; artists featured include k-os, Placebo, Crystal Method, and more.
"This soundtrack musically exemplifies the intensity, attitude and adrenaline of Need for Speed NITRO," said Steve Schnur, EA's music marketing dude. "This energetic collection of rock, electronic and hip hop, matches the incredible speed and intensity of a game experience players will never forget."
While there are always skeptics when a well-known franchise shifts to Nintendo's motion-happy console, but NITRO has earned some attention. It seems EA is rather serious about this Wii gaming business. We'll see for ourselves on November 3 -- or November 6, if you're in Europe.
Anyway, check out the track list and sample them if you're interested. Huh, never knew there's a musician out there named "LMFAO."
