Live-action film gets previewed before next week's release
Assassin's Creed fans have today been treated by Ubisoft with a trailer for their live-action prequel to Assassin's Creed II. Though at first there was speculation that Ubisoft would take the title to Hollywood, they have instead come up with a YouTube series that will lead up to the release of their blood-soaked sequel, launching on the 17th of November.
The three-part series will follow protagonist Ezio's tale and include some backstory on his father Giovanni Auditore da Firenze. It's hoped we'll see light shed on why Ezio takes the role upon Firenze's death.
The first of three instalments will be available to watch via Ubisoft's YouTube channel on the 27th of October, so keep your eyes peeled.
Their budget isn't as high as Microsoft's. That ODST live-action video was ridiculous, and they hired like 8972523294 different Hollywood studios to work on it. Crazy stuff.
Still, not bad. Smart campaign method on Ubisoft's part. I'm sure many fans have wanted to see Assassin's Creed live-action done professionally.
THAT WAS THE STUPIDEST TEASER I'VE EVEN SEEN AND THE GUY WHO PLAYS THE MAIN CHRACTER IN ASSASINS CREED LOOKS LIKE MY GRANDPA GET BACK IN YER WHEEL CHAIR
I was hoping for some positive feedback on this one. I am definately looking forward to this, and though I mya not be getting Assassin's Creed II on release, this has me intriuged.
