Take the helm as Clank in the first of two time-bending previews from the dynamic duo's latest adventure

With Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time releasing next week on the 27th, Insomniac and Sony have announced the first of two demos will be available on the PlayStation Store as of tomorrow. For those familiar with the previous two Ratchet titles, the furry Lombax and his robotic companion Clank have been seperated, and in this installment, both have their own unique play-styles.

The first demo will feature Clank and his abilities to bend time as he stuggles to reunite with Ratchet in one of the best games of the series. Apart from being able to traverse the Great Clock, Clank can use his new powers to slow down enemies, or even set multiple recordings of himself to pass certain puzzles. Details on the Ratchet-centric demo are sparse, but Sony promise to keep fans updated over the next few days.

Other notable Ratchet & Clank news is the official Home space is now open to users, offering several mini games and prizes to be won. Also, Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty has been reduced from $14.99 to $9.99.

Well, I have Friday off, so I'll probably try the Ratchet demo, even though the game is coming out in a week.

I MIGHT get the QfB mini game, I'll look into it.
