It's first come, first serve for interested Xbox 360 owners
Ah, Bayonetta. You know her as the glasses-wearing witch who can put enemies down with various firearms, a katana, and even her own hair, which doubles as a fashion statement with how she wears it. Furthering the awesomeness of the stylish gameplay, which emulates Devil May Cry's brutal-by-stylish manifesto, Bayonetta is just one of the many anticipated games coming soon (while garnering attention from the strangest of places). Now Sega has an appealing offer for Xbox 360 owners who wish to sample the game as soon as possible.
Starting today, Sega will give away 40,000 codes to access the localized Bayonetta demo before it becomes open to the public on Xbox LIVE. To have a chance at getting the code, simply sign up for a Sega Pass membership and wait for a notification around November 16. Even if you don't get a code, you can still take advantage of all the content and offers presented to Sega Pass members.
This giveaway is valid until November 13 but why put off taking two minutes of your time to input your e-mail address and password? You could be getting a taste of the "Torture Moves" on your nice, crisp television way before anyone else does (unless you were at any of the major 2009 gaming conventions). For everyone else, there's no word yet on when a public demo will be out. The full game still stands to be released January 5, 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
