Earlier in the year it was written Square Enix had bought out Eidos, to our bafflement. A bit of speculation arose to what the new name would be for the soon to be merged companies, and we have it here today in light of the completed reorganisation.

(Cue drum roll...)

Square Enix. Not that exciting, huh? The two companies will operate under the name in the UK as part of the Square Enix Europe unit.

It sure will be weird seeing Thief 4 as developed by the same name behind the famed Final Fantasy series.
