EA wants you to spend a holiday in hell!
Many are no doubt skeptical of Dante's Inferno, with the game being branded as a "God of War rip-off" already. But whether you're looking forward to the game or just can't wait to tear it apart, a demo is exactly what the community needs.
EA and Visceral have announced a Dante's Inferno "Gates of Hell" demo, coming to Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network in December. In it, gamers will get a big dose of gameplay, swinging around Death's scythe, repelling waves of hell spawn. The demo will also come with two cinematics, which EA points out are made by award-winning visual effects studio Blur (not to be confused with the racing game).
Dante's Inferno executive producer Jonathan Knight had a few things to say about the upcomign demo, as he hopes it will be well-received by gamers:
"Our main goal from the start of this project has been to create a journey that will make gamers truly feel like they are going through hell. The demo will give everyone some insight into how we are treating the story and a taste of the gameplay. And with nine more circles of hell to explore once the game comes out in February, we are literally just scratching the surface."
The full game has been marked for release on February 8 for Xbox 360, PSP and PlayStation 3 in North America, and February 12 for Europe.
