Welcome to Paradise Island

Computer and video game publisher GodGames, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., along with developer BreakAway Games, today announced "Tropico: Paradise Island," an expansion pack for the simulation Tropico. The pack adds new features to the game, creating new powers and problems for "El Presidente" as the player dictates an island country's diplomatic, developmental, and political fate. Tropico: Paradise Island is slated to ship in January of 2002.

As an all-powerful dictator, each player of Tropico manipulates resources to create his own thriving Caribbean paradise, while lining his personal Swiss bank account. The Paradise Island expansion pack features new scenarios, people, vehicles and buildings to increase the power of El Presidente and intensify his lust for power.
