Warren Spector reveals intentions for a third Deus Ex game

Computer And Video Games discovers straight from Ion Storm head honcho Warren Spector that some work on a third installment for the Deus Ex action game series has already commenced:

"Earlier today, during a discussion about Deus Ex: Invisible War and the future of the Deus Ex universe at a press event in south London, Ion Storm chief Warren Spector confirmed with us that preliminary work on Deus Ex 3 has already begun.

"We've already stared thinking about the third game in the series," Spector told us; and while he was saying little else about this third in the FPS-cum-RPG series of a cyberpunk persuasion, he did hint that, not surprisingly, the plot of number three would in some way be tied in with first title and imminent sequel."

But with second game not even in stores yet, it'll be a while we hear anything more concrete regarding the game.

If you make a new deus ex you will have to concentrate on a little more rpg i think and make it longer. If you could make the game as big as morrowind or maybe even the half the size it would be amazing and more bio mod slots would be useful.who says we need a follow up why cant we have a prequel maybe or a complete new story like the final fantasy games.Jc denton should be cool and not a Fag*t like he was in the second one

why dont they include an option when you start the game on which ending you did? like when you first star off, it will ask you the ending you chose, and the story goes on from there and evolves around the ending you previously chose.

If you ask me, the second Deus Ex was a shambles, im not saying it was bad. Im saying they ruined the aspect of JC and Paul being cool, they made them both seem like religious fanatics, although they were not, I was using it as an example, they are like robots who were programmed 4 one vision, "One vision, One purpose". JC had become a totally different person, from whom I really liked in the first game. The story for the first Deus Ex was pure artistry, wen they make the third one, I say they should clean up JC's act, and somehow make him act like he was before, like realisin the AI took him over or something, and Paul was bein an idiot or something, the second game was very dissapointing, the first game WAS in my view the best game ever created, to date. My view will probably stay like that for a long time, if they make the third one good, it may make the second game look alot better.

I had noticed in the second game, if I was not such a fan of the Denton's, it was almost like they wanted you to acheive larry's prefered ending the guy who decides to join the Omar, because in the second game, he was a character I grew quite fond of. He was my favourite character in that game, excluding JC and Paul, my image of Paul and JC has been shattered in a way, I try not to remember some parts in the second game, I wish they would fix it in the third game.
