GameSpot writes that Ubisoft's tropical-based first-person action shooter, Far Cry, will be ported to consoles featuring "additional features and enhancements".  Titled "Far Cry Instincts", the game is being developed in Montreal by many of the members responsible for Ubisoft's Splinter Cell game series.

"Far Cry Instincts will feature all of the PC game's wide-open environments and signature locales, but it will also add all-new gameplay scenarios that require different strategies and survival tactics to complete. No specific platforms or release dates for Far Cry Instincts have been announced at this time."
