Found a neat website the other day surfing the Internets. It tracks certain resemblances between video game characters and celebrities. Take a look at a few and judge for yourself.

This first one isn't a video game character, but a video game star nonetheless: no other than famous heroic Mario and Zelda developer Shigeru Miyamoto:

Hmm... an Asian Austin Powers? Not convinced?

How about this one: the resemblance is hard not to notice here between Big Boss, from the Metal Gear Solid Series, and...

...suave aging Hollywood legend Sean Connery. Really -- was Big Boss based on Mr. Connery perhaps?

And on the subject of Metal Gear, how about this image of Solid Snake, featured on the original NES game's box art:

Whoa! Really! I think we have found some similarities here! Perhaps the source of inspiration for the box art, perhaps? Hmm..

What's going on here? Seems like there is some big time 'inspiration' going on, that's for sure.
