That did not take long
Gizmodo reports that Apple's DRM - Fairplay - on iPhone apps has been hacked.
As Apple already allows you to download all apps you purchased to all the iPhones on your account, some may say it is only useful to hack the iPhone for pirating, but that's not true.
We don't condone copying games, but it could be useful for getting apps from places other than the iTunes store, or updates to apps offered on iTunes faster than Apple updates them - besides, it just feels wrong not to be able to distribute your own apps yourself
I fully expect Apple to patch Fairplay to get around this hole, but I also expect whatever they do to be broken.
