We reckon the Age of Reckoning is upon ye by now, at least for those of you who chose to go with the retail copy of Warhammer Online.  WAR buffs who were fortunate enough to download the game and its patches earlier through the limited edition pre-order package certainly don't need us to remind them that WAR is on!  Developer Mythic confirms the servers for WAR are officially open to the public after being put through the paces by lucky beta testers.

Things moved smoothly for North America during the open beta, but the story was different in Europe thanks to registration and authentication issues over at MMO operator GOA, WAR's European publisher.  Despite this, Mythic remains confident in GOA's experience with launching MMOs in Europe compared to EA, the developer's parent studio.  Hopefully all that will get sorted out in time for WAR's European launch later this year.
