1.2GB demo lands on the internet
It's here and ready to roll, the Tomb Raider demo goes live today and finally we'll get to see how the game stacks up now that the retail release is coming up soon, Eidos has already posted the demo links on http://www.tombraider.com and it should be making rounds to popular demo sites as well. The game drops players into Thailand with a variety of challenges, taking on cliffs, wild animals, dense jungle and more.
No doubt everyone will want to jump into the game though and find out if it's living up to all the hype the footage is making so I'll leave you with an oldie but goodie.
Video is a combination of Training (Beginning) and promotional shots (Action and static). When she is doing some action shots, notice how they take pictures in the middle?
No motion capture (skipped a lot of the video though).
Motion capture is generally done with little dots (not sure if they're transmitters, or just something detected by cameras or something), and plain clothing (one piece jumpsuits and the like)....Clothing movement would cause problems.
