If you haven't already heard, the much anticipated Fallout 3 DLC Operation: Anchorage was released yesterday, January 27.
We first heard about this PC and Xbox 360 exclusive content last year, when lead producer Jeff Gardiner revealed some details concerning the backstory of Operation: Anchorage, named after the Anchorage Reclamation. The protagonist will need to enter a brutal military simulation, in which he (or she) battles Chinese Communists, to gain access to a treasure trove of equipment currently under lockdown.
Despite being a VR simulation, this is no walk in the park. All of the program's safety protocols have been deactivated, and as the DLC trailer so eloquently states, "Sim death, real death."
Operation: Anchorage is priced at 800 MS Points and should keep players occupied for about five hours. Not a bad deal at all.
