Out of the hood and into the producer's chair
50 Cent has a lot of skills. He can rap, for example.
Although he apparently had the chance to work his upcoming Blood on the Sand game into a movie, Mr. Cent instead decided that adapting the game series Saints Row into a Hollywood movie interested him quite a bit more.
According to the blog Kotaku, in a conference call this morning, Fifty said that he was going to be optioning the rights for a Saints Row flick from THQ, with whom he has a good working working relationship.
"With my relationship with THQ, they'll actually see me develop Saint's Row into an actual screenplay and into a film project," the indomitable rapper, from the streets, was quoted as saying. "I'm optioning the rights for that right now, so they'll see that before they see me do it from my own perspective for my game."
Judging from what little information has been released, it looks like 50 Cent is intending to be a producer for the film project.
Who knows? Perhaps 50 Cent is the perfect man for the job. Perhaps his life experiences will give him a good handle on how to handle the serious and somber nature of the Saints Row series.
This is bullshit. The guy thinks he can rap so that qualifies him to produce a movie? I love saints row so im pretty pissed. I'd rather have no movie than a shitty one.
I think 50 Cent could pull off something alright. I mean look at what he is up against: how many good video game adaptation movies can you think of ? 50 Cent's Saint's Row has a better chance at being less painful than Anonymous Mild-aged Hollywood Producer whose never played a video game in his life's adaption of Doom, Alone In the Dark, Street Fighter, etc etc etc
I freakin love Kanye West. He is such an amazing artist. A true innovator in his genre. His style , both fashion wise and musically, are top notch. I think most people dont like him b/c he's great and he knows it. And he says it all the time. Sure, the guys kinda penis-y, but he should be. Deal with his greatness people. Learn to recognize genious when you see it.

THANK YOU! Honestly I can't stand Kanye!
I liked 50's first game, not sure why, probably because I like his music.
