Apple iPod Shuffle Goes Micro
Gabriel Vega - Thursday, November 2nd, 2006 | 9:03AM (PT)

A new $79 price-tag, smaller size and even more style.

While many thought the iPod Shuffle was small as is, Apple seems to think otherwise as they now bring fourth the newest in micro MP3 players with the revised iPod Shuffle weighing in at half an ounce, 1.65 inches in length 1GB of Storage (240 songs estimated by apple) and 12 hours of battery life. The new style lends to the idea of clip and go, be it in your jacket, on your belt, acting as a belt, in your backpack and pretty much anything else you might be daring enough to attach it to. With an anodized aluminum body it joins the Nano in portable style.

Nice
Seems it was more reflecting on them now shipping the product since I've been waiting on it since the initial announcement of the new version.

Unless of course you're trying to say the product is REALLY old to which I'd ask why Apple is featuring the shipping announcement on their homepage for something so REALLY old as you're putting it.

No, it's definately treating the new shuffle, information as brand new and exciting. It's giving the specs and stuff, which have been all over the internet (including apple's site I believe) for weeks.

Cool ppl pick at spelling mistakes.

Yeah it's been on the Apple site for a while, the specs aren't really anything new to see and I guess for normal guests it's probably nice they don't have to make that extra click because I'm sure it can be a killer to some of them.

BTW: I wasn't pointing out your obvious flawed spelling of REALY I was more making fun of your attempt to sound all knowing going "OMG NE IPAWD ENTHUSIAST KNOES DIS 111one" cool people normally don't like to brag that they're so into a company/product that you'd swear they owned 50% of the shares.

Anyway this pretty much a dead fish, would have liked to see the piece about Jobs claiming he's going to be dishing out shuffles to the Apple employee's. Enjoy throwing in the last word to pretend you knew that I was mocking you all this time.
