Friends is a popular Emmy award winning sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman that debuted in 1994 that ran ten seasons until its end in 2004. The series is based around the lives of six friends living in New York City.

The characters include the rich and spoiled Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston); the neurotic clean-freak Monica Geller (Courteney Cox-Arquette); the quirky Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow); the ladies man and actor Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc); the wise-cracking Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry); and the nerdy paleontologist Ross Geller (David Schwimmer).

The series was one of the most popular sitcoms on television and is considered as one of best modern sitcoms.
